Applying ice to the inflammation can reduce the swelling of the pimple, shrinking your infected area which will decrease the over-all time of the pimple on your face, it accelerates the healing process.
Applying ice can also help with the pain and the redness of the infected area.
Simply, just wrap ice in a facecloth and hold it on the inflammation for 1 min (DO NOT PUT ICE DIRECTLY ON SKIN). afterwards, wait five minutes then re-apply if need be.
Honey is known as disinfectant, it can take away the oils that make the pimple thrive and accelerate the healing process of the spot.
Simply. just grab a Q-tip or something similar that has a cotton tip.. that is clean.. very important, then just apply honey directly to the skin.
leave it for about 45 mins then wash your spot with warm water.
3. Lemon juice
This one is a good tactic to leave over night while you sleep, the citrus extract from the lemon juice acts as a germicide and will eliminate the vast amounts of oil in the infected area.
Therefore. decreasing the size of the pimple for a quick healing process.
Simply, use a clean cotton swap and apply it to the infected spot.
4. Apple cider vinegar
This is a good way to get rid of your pimples if you have apple cider vinegar laying around your house.
It basically works the same way the lemon juice does but it is a bit more powerful.
If you apply to much it can dry out your skin to an unhealthy level which can also cause pimples in the future.
applying the right amount of this can drain out some of the excess oils from your pimple to decrease the swelling, just like the lemon juice.
Simply, wash your face with warm water then dry off with a clean towel, mix one 1 part apple cider vinegar and 3 part water. Dip a cotton ball in the solution then dab the infected area, leave on solution for no less then 15 mins.. can also leave it on overnight if need be.
5. Tooth paste
This method can be very effective, make sure you use the white looking paste instead of the gel for better results.
Simply, wash your face with warm water, dab the tooth paste on the inflammation and leave it on for 30 minutes or more.. can also be left on over night, in the morning wash your face with cold water a couple times.
